Rotaract
Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women aged 18 to 30 years. Rotaract clubs are either community or university-based, and they’re sponsored by a local Rotary club. This makes them true “partners in service” and key members of the family of Rotary. Rotaract is Rotary’s most significant and fastest-growing service program, with more than 9,030 clubs in about 170 countries and geographical areas. Rotaract Club of Patan South is a community-based club which is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Patan South. Rotaract Club of Patan South was chartered on 23rd August 2012. The purpose of Rotaract is to provide an opportunity for the youth to enhance their knowledge and skills for overall development. Rotaract provides a platform for leadership development so that the youths can lead the communities in addressing their physical and social needs and promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service. It also works to enhance the personality development of the youth that are present in society for a better future.
